Cain Park once again proved to be one of the premiere art shows in Ohio and the nation. The weather was a little hot Sun. (90+) but the show was a great success. 150 artists from all over the country in a beautiful park setting. Artist breakfasts before the show on Fri. and Sat. and a nice awards lunch provided by a staff that fussed over us for four days. The staff (there seemed to hundreds of them)seemed to not be able to do enough for all of us. This show has always had a reputation of being very artist friendly. This year the staff truly outdid themselves for out benefit.
The Cleveland Hts. crowds were out in force and very art savy and appreciative. Sales were outstanding and crowds were huge Fri. and just OK Sat. and Sun. My booth neighbors were very friendly and talented. Overall, the quality of the artwork was amazing.
Artist will appreciate this...one of the best features of the show is the fact that they allow you to park your vehicle behind your booth and also allow you to camp out overnight in the park if you want with shower and bathroom facilities open to the artists with free latenight concerts in the park on the Cain Park main stage.
I'm on to Chicago (Aug. 5-7 )and then New York (Aug. 13-14).
